Quail Hunting
Meadow Wood's two person, half-day hunt includes 50 quail. The hunt includes a warm-up on the Sporting Clays; an experienced guide and professionally trained dogs; an old-fashioned, Southern-style, home-cooked meal; and a gun cleaning. We want you to have plenty of shooting and some tasty quail for your freezer. For those wanting more shooting, additional birds may be purchased. Cleaning and packaging are provided at a reasonable rate. All gauges of shotgun shells are available for purchase.

Pheasant Hunting
Meadow Wood's pheasant tower shoots are truly an experience. An afternoon shoot can accommodate 16 hunters and 240 pheasants. After a delicious Southern-style, home-cooked meal, your group will warm up on sporting clays then proceed to our pheasant field with its 80-foot release tower and 12 shooting stations. Each hunter will rotate and shoot high, fast flying pheasant from each station. As you relax after the hunt, our staff will clean your guns and prepare birds for your trip home. Morning and afternoon hunts are available.

Mallard Duck Hunt
Meadow Wood's two person mallard duck hunt includes 20 mallards. You will be hunting flooded hollows from comfortable, dry blinds. An experienced guide and retriever will work the ducks for you, and you may call if you like. This hunt will provide shots at decoying and passing ducks. Additional ducks may be added to your hunt so just let your guide know when you are finished. As you relax after the hunt, our staff will clean your guns and prepare birds for your trip home. Morning and afternoon hunts are available and include breakfast and lunch for morning hunts and lunch for afternoon hunts. Our preserve duck season runs from October through March. We are a short drive from Charlotte, NC, so come out and enjoy fantastic duck hunting and be back home with the family for dinner.
